this motel woudl ve been tolerable if the bathroom wasn’t dirty and the floors hadn’t looked like a pigsty. i can’t believe i didn’t receive a complimentary upgrade for all the inconvenience. the blankets were dirty too—so cozy! i almost gave a good review, but the machine-like vibe of mediocrity just ruined it.

Coffee is good, providing a solid start to the day.
Rooms are not being properly cleaned, with visible dust and old stains on carpets and sheets.

proximity to Six Flags, cheap rates, air freshener provided
The bathrooms are in desperate need of proper cleaning, and it seems like a vacuum hasn't touched the floors in ages!!! Consider fresh sheets to avoid guest discomfort!!! Improve the consistency of room availability!!!

During my stay, I appreciated the convenient access to local dining options, which was very helpful for me as a senior traveler. The non-smoking room I had was clean and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.
More thorough cleaning in rooms is needed.

Had a great time with friends visiting the local Urban Edge Gallery and Genesee Theater. The location is nice, which made it easy to head over to Bonnie Brook Golf Course, too! The breakfast options were simple but the coffee was definitely a highlight. Just keep in mind that the rooms are basic.
One downside was that the rooms lack deep cleaning, so be prepared for that. I noticed some crumbs on the carpets.

Just a nice choice for an overnight stay in Gurnee with outstanding value for money. The coffee in the morning was surprisingly good, which made the average breakfast a bit better. Bring your own snacks, as the food options are limited.
